Green Greetings
As the name suggests,
The Green Interconnect is a resource to be used by anyone seeking to lessen their contribution to the rapid and enormous impact our modern way of life is having on our not indestructible earth. In short, are you interested in the re-greening of the Planet?
We are on the cusp of something monumental in our collective history. Either we master our over consumption of just about everything, and gain control of our juvenile desire to guzzle our fossil fuels as fast as we can swallow them, or we are going to leave earth a far less beautiful place for our descendants, our children.
We humans, in a desire to protect the continuation of our species, and in our duty to protect and safeguard the other living creatures that share our Earth, need to collectively take charge of what we support with our spending habits, because what we are driving with our spending is shaping our world. We need to actively find ways to participate in the re-engineering of the planet, to safeguard the community that is ours as ‘Human’ beings for future generations, and for the countless living creatures that share our world and who have no say in the matter.
One of the ways we can and must do this is through the lifestyle choices we make, and with this comes the allocation of our collective spending power. This collective spending power that we can channel and bring to bear can be an extremely powerful agent for affecting positive change in business and industry.
We can choose to support products and services that complement the earth and it’s future, with renewable energy, highly efficient engines and low power consumption alternatives. If we do this smartly and in enough numbers, collectively we will cause industry and commerce to adjust. Those that don’t get it, will get less and less of the business, eventually being forcing out. A lover of our future world must make wise purchase decisions and support efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle through our spending patterns. Our job is to bring green earth lovers, both individuals and commercial interests together at this meeting place.
This is going to be a fun and exciting place if you get a kick out of going green – whatever your level of involvement.
